Buffalo sauce is a staple in our household. I absolutely love everything about it, and I am always experimenting with different ways to incorporate it into recipes. These buffalo chicken slow cooker sliders are an absolute breeze to make and taste delicious. All you need to do is throw a few simple ingredients into a slow cooker, and the crock-pot will do all the heavy lifting for you!
I love making these when I know I will be home late from work or don’t have time to prepare a full dinner. With a quick 5-10 minute prep time, I can easily throw everything in the crock-pot before I leave for work and come home to a house filled with the aromas of buffalo sauce and dinner ready to go!
These sliders are also perfect if you are making dinner for a large amount of people. I have made these for casual dinner parties of 40-50 people and most recently made them for our Summer Soiree as an easy appetizer. These sliders are easily adaptable to the formality of the event and always a crowd pleaser!
Enjoy!
- 1.5 lbs boneless chicken breast
- 1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix
- 2 cups buffalo sauce (I like Sweet Baby Ray’s!)
- 1 lettuce head for dressing
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
- 8 Hawaiian rolls
- Add the chicken, dry ranch dressing mix, and buffalo sauce to the crock-pot. Be sure that chicken is completely covered by the buffalo sauce.
- Set your crock-pot to low heat for a cook time of 8 hours or high for a cook-time of 4 hours.
- Once completely cooked, shred the chicken in the crock-pot with two forks or a hand mixer. Serve chicken on a Hawaiian roll. Sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles and top with lettuce.
