We’re just a few weeks away from St. Patrick’s Day, so today we are getting all ready and preparing our home before the Leprechaun arrives and making our favorite treat – St. Patrick’s Day Popcorn!

This is the perfect treat to send your little Leprechauns to school with or to serve at your St. Patty’s Day party! This sweet and salty festive snack will be thoroughly enjoyed by kids and adults alike and only requires a few simple ingredients – your favorite popcorn (I usually opt for Skinny Pop to save on those cals somewhere-ha), white chocolate, green food coloring, green sprinkles, and the green candy of your liking! Green M&M’s is always a favorite, but this year I opted for green candy corn that I picked up at our local Central Market (I also found some on Amazon here).

This Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake is one of the most refreshing and decadent cheesecakes I’ve ever had. I am a huge cheesecake lover, but this one tops the charts! The lemon flavored cheesecake is topped with fresh raspberries and drizzled with a lemon raspberry glaze that’s just to die for. The freshness of the lemon flavoring and the raspberries almost makes it taste (do I dare say?) healthy! It’s definitely not healthy, but the raspberries on top makes me feel a little bit better! 🙂

It’s absolutely perfect for a sweet addition to a springtime brunch or after dinner dessert. And if you are hosting a Valentine’s day brunch or making a romantic meal at home, this is the perfect festive dessert to serve to your honey! I can guarantee you that this will be making an appearance at our Valentine’s Day festivities this year! Plus it is pretty simple to make and just looks absolutely GORGEOUS and so professional that people will be “oohing and ahhing” all day long!

There’s no better way to start a weekend morning than with a plate of hot cinnamon rolls! These use to be a childhood favorite but now sadly only seem to make their appearance on special occasions like Christmas brunch or when we have house guests. So thank goodness, we got to celebrate Landon’s birthday last weekend so we could whip these babies up and indulge!

These cinnamon rolls are gooey, sugary and melt perfectly in your mouth – it’s like a little piece of heaven. And what makes these even better are the sweet aromas that fill your house as soon as you pop them in the oven! Check out the recipe below and surprise your loved ones with this special treat!

Who’s responsible for bringing pie to your Thanksgiving feast this year?! Two hands up from this gal right here!

No Thanksgiving is complete with an apple pie, am I right?! This holiday classic is always one of my favorite dishes and is what keeps me from that second serving of mashed potatoes. My aunt makes the most incredible apple pie, and this year, I’m giving it a swing. The stakes are high, so I’ve been experimenting with tons of different recipes, and have concluded that this Homemade Caramel Apple Pie is by far the gold medalist.

The cinnamon-spiced apples combined with the sweet caramel sauce…yuuu–ummmm! Bake up this holiday favorite, and your family and friends are sure to be talking about it for years to come!

Ingredients
  1. unbaked pie crusts
  2. 7 medium apples, cored, peeled, and thinly sliced
  3. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  4. 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  5. 2 teaspoons fresh lemon zest
  6. 3 tbs fresh lemon juice
  7. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  8. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  9. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  10. 1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  11. ½ cup caramel sauce
  12. egg wash: 1 egg beaten with 1 tbs milk
  13. coarse sugar for sprinkling on crust
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Press one pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and place onto a large baking sheet.
  3. Place apple slices into large bowl. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, flour, cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Toss to combine.
  4. Pour apple mixture into prepared pie crust.
  5. Drizzle with 1/2 cup of caramel sauce.
  6. Place the second pie crust over the filling (in a lattice shape or simply cut slits to vent the steam). Press edges to seal.
  7. Brush the lattice top with the egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  8. Place the pie (on the baking sheet) in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Keeping the pie in the oven, turn the temperature down to 350°F and bake for another 45-50 minutes. The pie is done when the crust is golden-brown and a small knife inserted into the pie comes out relatively clean.
  9. Allow the pie to cool before serving. If you would like, drizzle the pie additional caramel sauce.

For every party, we all want those jaw-dropping uber creative menus that all our guests will be talking about long after the event, don’t we? I always envision my guests oohing and aahing over every dish they taste and just marveling in the originality of it. But let’s be honest. Not every dish we make can be that innovative and unique. Every party and event needs one of our favorite basic no-fail recipes, where we can just kick our feet up and know that it will be a success.

For me, Rice Krispie Treats can be just the ticket! I mean who doesn’t love a good Rice Krispie Treat? They instantly create a sense of nostalgia and remind us of a fun childhood memory. Plus they are an easy festive bite that you can customize to any party.

I recently incorporated them into our Ghoul’s Night Out Halloween Party, and they gave it the perfect spooktacular flare! I dressed them up by dipping them in white chocolate and then rolled them in some fun Halloween sprinkles! I grabbed some orange paper straws to use as sticks and voila! An adorable and festive Rice Krispie Pop perfect for your upcoming party! Change up the sprinkles and straw color, and you’ve got yourself a treat for any birthday party theme or holiday!

Cakes are my absolute favorite dessert to bake and decorate. Not only are they delicious, but they can be true works of art depending on how you design and display them. I am a true believer that presentation is key, so the best way to top off any perfectly baked cake, or any dessert really, is with a gorgeous stand!

Chocolate dipped pretzel rods are one of my favorite go-to party snacks! They are the perfect sweet and salty treat and are always a crowd pleaser! Plus, they are super easy to make and can easily be customized to the theme of your event!

Milk chocolate dipped pretzels with white chocolate drizzled on top is always a classic, but with a little bit of food coloring and sprinkles, the options are endless! I always love experimenting with dyeing the white chocolate bright colors (think light pink for a princess party, green for tailgates, or red for Christmas) and adding coordinating colored sprinkles to make this sweet treat extra festive!
